Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Software Engineer I at Anthology, you will:

  • Design and implement solutions for the application areas owned by the team.
  • Take ownership of the team’s product areas running in production.
  • Learn and apply new system design responsibilities.
  • Resolve production issues and defects for solutions owned by the team.
  • Ensure proper team and inter-team communication practices.
  • Identify and address issues with internal team communication practices.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.Net) and web-based application development.
    • Experience with .NET/.NET Core, MVC, Web API, CSS, JavaScript, and UI frameworks like Angular or React.
    • Familiarity with SQL Server and database systems.
    • Exposure to unit testing frameworks like MS Unit and QUnit.
    • Knowledge of version control systems like Git and Agile tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Language: Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
