Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at FORVIA, you will:
- Validate and test software for Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Products.
- Handle software issues and debugging in multi-task applications.
- Work with Microcontrollers, SOCs, and embedded systems using C/C++ and OS-based platforms.
- Develop and execute system boot-up processes for embedded products.
- Utilize tools like Vector HW, CANoe, CANalyzer, and CAPL for testing and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automotive communication protocols (CAN, UDS, I2C, SPI, USB).
- Gain exposure to embedded peripherals such as BT, Wi-Fi, Audio/Video, HMI, and Touch systems.
- Use project management tools like GIT, JIRA, DOOR, GERRIT, Confluence, ALM, and SVN.
- Contribute to all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Prepare technical documentation and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- Experience:Â 2+ years in embedded systems, software validation, or automotive electronics.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and OS-based development.
- Strong debugging skills in multi-task applications.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, UDS, I2C, SPI, USB).
- Familiarity with tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, and Vector HW.
- Experience with project management tools (GIT, JIRA, SVN, etc.).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Business-level proficiency in English.
