Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Engineer at GE Healthcare, you will:

  • Take overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling, targeting 2-week inventory levels.
  • Become an expert in Oracle and Digital Cockpit systems.
  • Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory and manage rescheduling of materials for pull-ins (expedites) and push-outs (for inventory control).
  • Conduct daily root cause investigations to resolve material shortages.
  • Partner closely with suppliers to address packaging needs, min/max planning, and materials replenishment.
  • Support material transfers, supplier reviews, and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes to minimize obsolete material.
  • Conduct daily walks on the production floor and receiving dock to investigate and resolve material receiving issues.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
