Key Responsibilities
As a Data Governance Analyst at McAfee, you will:
- Define and Implement Policies: Establish data governance policies, including data quality standards, stewardship roles, and lifecycle management.
- Develop Frameworks: Create and maintain data governance frameworks, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
- Optimize Processes: Streamline data governance processes to improve efficiency and ensure consistent adoption across teams.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with data owners, stewards, and business teams to drive governance adoption.
- Maintain Documentation: Document data governance policies, workflows, and frameworks clearly and comprehensively.
- Monitor Compliance: Create reports on data governance performance, impact, and compliance for stakeholders.
- Manage Collibra: Configure and manage Collibra workflows, rules, and policies to support governance initiatives.
- Ensure Data Quality: Develop data quality dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor data health.
- Track Data Lineage: Maintain data lineage and metadata to ensure consistency and integration across systems.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in data governance, data quality management, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK and COBIT.
- Proficiency in Collibra Data Governance platform and its integration with ETL tools.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark for data processing and quality checks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and their native data tools.
- Expertise in data security practices, including encryption and access controls.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
