Key Responsibilities

As an L1 Service Desk professional at Zones, you will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, chat, and email.
  • Troubleshoot and configure desktop hardware, software, and associated peripherals.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and guided questions.
  • Create and document real-time tickets while ensuring tasks are completed within SLAs.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Follow up with customers to provide updates and ensure issue resolution.
  • Suggest improvements to procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Maintain logs of events, problems, and their resolutions.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: BSc (IT, Computer), B.Tech/BE, BCA, M.Tech, MCA, or MSc (Computer).
  • Experience: 0 to 6 months in IT support (freshers are welcome).
  • Skills Required:
    • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware diagnostics.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Teams and Skype.
